Challenge Bibendum Rio 2010
date:
May 30 07:30am - Jun 3 02:30pm

What:

Challenge Bibendum Rio de Janeiro 2010: a unique opportunity to rally together towards a renaissance of road transport after the downturn. The aim of this 10th Challenge Bibendum is to demonstrate even more forcibly than in previous editions that solutions do exist to reconcile road mobility with human and environmental concerns, and ensure that in the decades ahead its development will be harmonious.

The industry is emerging from the downturn. As it restructures and finds new focus it is an ideal opportunity to make new strategies and roadmaps a reality. Acting as a forum Challenge Bibendum sets out to address the following road transport issues:

  • energy supply
  • greenhouse gas emissions and climate change
  • road safety
  • urban air quality and noise pollution
  • traffic congestion.
