Sustainable Transport Symposium

The Kocaeli Metropolitan Municipality, with the support of the Union of Municipalities of Turkey and EMBARQ, are hosting a Sustainable Transportation Symposium in Kocaeli, Turkey to generate solutions to urban transportation problems and raise awareness on sustainable transportation. The symposium will be spread across six sessions and will include sustainable transportation experts from the world over to share their knowledge and experience. Topics of discussion will include how to make urban transport more sustainable; best practices of sustainable transportation; sustainable transportation examples from European cities; improvement of public transportation systems; financing transportation projects; and transport emissions, health and road safety.
