CTS-Brasil Director Luis Antonio Lindau will sit on the scientific committee of the 1st International Conference on Innovative Cities, scheduled for March 10-13, 2010 in Curitiba, Brazil.

The conference agenda will include speakers such as Jaime Lerner, world-renowned architect and former mayor of Curitiba, and Antanas Mockus, politician and former mayor of Bogota, who will share their experiences from a government perspective of designing global and innovative cities.

Mr. Lindau accepted the invitation to participate in the conference from the Municipality of Curitiba and the Federation of Industries of Paraná (FIEP).

CTS-Brasil is a strategic partner of the event, which will be held at the Centro de Eventos FIEP.

The conference has the institutional support of United Nations Department of Economic and Social Affairs (UNDESA).
