High Quality Urban Public Transportation for All, April 25-26, Leon, Mexico

On April 25-26, 2012, the city of León, Mexico will host the Second Annual SIBRT Congress of Best Practices in Latin America.
The II Congress promises to bring together the managers of 29 of the largest public transportation agencies in Latin America, as well as international transportation experts, Latin American political decision makers, and transit industry suppliers.
During the meeting public transportation leaders will exchange ideas and experiences with other experts, academics, and civil society on the key issues facing the development and growth of integrated transport systems and bus rapid transit (BRT).
The event was organized jointly by Optibús SIT, the manager of public transportation in Leon, and the Latin American Association of Integrated Systems and BRT (SIBRT).

On April 27, SIBRT members will convene to hold their Third General Assembly meeting.
