Working towards high-quality public transport in Latin American cities.

The Latin American Association of Integrated Transport Systems and BRT (SIBRT) will host the "1st SIBRT Workshop on Quality of Service and User Satisfaction: Indicators and Tools" on July 23-27 in Santiago, Chile. The event will take place during the Conference on Advanced Systems for Public Transport (CASPT12). It is organized in partnership with EMBARQ and the Across Latitudes and Cultures – Bus Rapid Transit (ALC-BRT CoE) Centre of Excellence.
Held at the Ritz-Carlton Hotel, the workshop will bring together about 40 transportation technology providers, academics, experts, suppliers and operators to share international best practices of creating high-quality public transport for all residents of Latin America cities.

Curitiba is the headquarters of the Association. URBS was elected to serve as the President of SIBRT. EMBARQ serves as the General Secretariat.
