p>While the Senate recently defeated four bills or amendments that would restrict EPA’s authority, it remains to be seen if additional anti-EPA bills will be introduced in the U.S. Congress or in state governments.

The World Resources Institute (WRI) announced today that Dr. Kevin Kennedy will lead its U.S. Climate Initiative, within the Climate and Energy Program, starting in April 2011.

President Obama delivered his annual State of the Union address setting new goals for America’s energy future.

Here are some of the targets he announced:
