Changing the way people get around, and more, in Taiwan - Jan 25, 2007 - International Herald Tribune

The world's latest fast train, capable of 300 kilometers per hour, or 185 miles an hour, is expected to fundamentally alter Taiwan's economy, according to rail and airline executives and other transportation experts.
