A partnership between EMBARQ and the city of Porto Alegre, Brazil has been recognized by the Clinton Global Initiative for its commitment to address climate change and urban poverty.

EMBARQ participated at the Clinton Global Initiative, reporting progress on its commitment to revitalize the downtown of Porto Alegre, Brasil with the development of a financially and economically sustainable Bus Rapid Transit system.
